The Hobo Soul is a raw, textured journey carved in cement and color. The thick relief surface—scratched, cracked, and broken—becomes a terrain of struggle and persistence. At its center stands a skeletal figure, half rational, half intuitive, smiling with bitter recognition that existence has no clear map.

Red bursts in its chest evoke stubborn vitality, colliding with electric blue—the silence of the cosmos. Between these extremes, brush and knife tear through the canvas, exposing tension between hope and despair. A fractured red crown hovers above, beneath it tilted white crosses—markers not of endings, but of restless passage.

The repeated word HOBO—sometimes slashed, sometimes crossed—anchors the work: a soul without home, always searching. Explosions of orange, violet, and neon yellow flare briefly before fading, like fleeting stations in an endless journey. Black cuts through the relief, grounding the chaos in void and shadow.

As gallery light shifts across the cement peaks, shadows move with the viewer, drawing them into this wandering path. The work embraces absurdity not as defeat, but as a lifelong pilgrimage—an untethered soul persisting through fracture, color, and flame.
